Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience with system hardware or software validation, some of which has been in a team lead position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at reporting and presenting system and feature quality status to a variety of cross-functional audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate cross-functional leadership with good project/time management skills.
- Solid programming fundamentals, in languages such as Python or similar languages
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to co-ordinate and drive Quality Engineering projects by planning and managing test execution with offshore testers, including in-depth issue triage and debug.
- Proven ability to ramp up quickly on both new and existing standards based technologies. Familiarity with IO technologies such as USB, Thunderbolt or DisplayPort/HDMI is highly desirable
- Practical scripting experience with scenarios such as triaging and routing issues, extracting, manipulating data or streamlining workflows and test automation.
- Familiarity with data visualization, trend analysis and report creation using tools such as Tableau
- Willingness and ability to travel between sites
- Ability to communicate with native Mandarin-Chinese speakers to aid collaboration with offshore teams is a plus
- Familiarity with C programming will be an asset

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $272,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
