Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. As an Engagement Manager, you will deliver and deploy Apple products for K-12, Higher Education, Government and Enterprise customers. The position is part of the Apple Professional Services (APS) team and will be responsible for managing services that enable our customers to realize their business objectives. The Engagement Manager will also analyze trends based on customer requirements and assign resources to meet the customer’s objectives, and partner with the greater APS team to find opportunities for new or revised processes. This role balances the needs of the customer and Apple to assign resources that meets or exceeds the requirements of service delivery.
Description
In this role, you will : Plan, organize, and manage all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery Team player who effectively integrates, motivates and establishes relationships with cross-functional team members (local or remote), sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with or affected by the project Plays an active role in managing project goals and driving teams to achieve customers’ business outcomes by managing issues, risks, decisions, and action items Display experience with change management and team engagement Recommended solutions that encompass process, technology, project and staffing plans (workflow documentation) Construction and communication of risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to custom solution proposals Creation of applicable services agreements (SOW) that specify processes, technology, staffing, results, commitments, risk, and project management aspects of the proposed solution Actively looks for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness. Serve as a services subject matter expert to both internal and external customers and act with a sense of urgency when needed Use experience, innovation and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information Ability to make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan with limited guidance
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience leading the delivery of projects with external customers or equivalent experience
Experience with engagement management practices with methodical attention to detail
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive early and ongoing communication
Facilitation skills amongst both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of services-related processes and technologies
Experience working with third party providers
Knowledge of operational risk assessment and impacts to service delivery
Strong presentation skills with stellar written, verbal and listening abilities
Experience working in a matrix environment, managing multiple stakeholders
BS / BA or equivalent experience
