Job Description
We are seeking an RFIC Test and Validation Engineer to join our outstanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for running bench tests and debugging RF SoC IP, including transmitters, receivers, PLL, power amplifiers, ADC/DAC, crystal oscillators, and PMU.
- Debug chip level or board level de-sense and EMI issues.
- Write scripts using a build-up environment to automate measurements.
- Perform RF system characterization measuring EVM, spectral mask, phase noise, sensitivity, and other radio parameters.
- Design external matching networks to optimize Tx/Rx radio performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in RF test development, debugging, and reporting.
- Scripting and debugging knowledge in Python, Perl, TCL, C , or equivalent.
- A solid understanding of RF test equipment (network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, vector signal analyzer, vector signal generator, etc.).
- Good knowledge of RF, PLL, and general wireless systems measurements (i.e., IP3, NF, ACPR, phase noise, lock time, etc.).
