Description
APPLE INC has the following available in New York, New York. Design and develop sophisticated personalized ad click probability and relevance models and associated software for a variety of ad placements (search and display ads in the App store, etc.). Create machine learning algorithms for personalized recommender systems while preserving user-privacy and having a positive impact on an advertising marketplace. Design machine learning algorithms for search or contextual information retrieval. Collaborate with partner teams who are experts in on-device machine learning in order to improve ad ranking algorithms. Measure user, campaign and app performance and analyzing the results of extremely large-scale experiments. Design and develop large scale distributed systems and software for ad ranking and retrieval. Apply advanced statistical, ML and optimization methods and work with large, complex data sets. Assure the integrity and breadth of the data within the ad network. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Machine Learning
- Distributed Systems
- Recommender Systems
- Information Retrieval
- Statistics, Optimization and Data Mining
- Python, Scala or Java
- Databases, SQL, scripts
