Minimum Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in QA/QE
- Minimum of 1 years experience as a Software Engineer in Test, programming in Swift and/or Python to prototype features, and create and test with internal tools
- Proficiency in at least one of the following two areas:
- Testing mobile/desktop apps, cloud based frameworks, and backend/APIs (At least one modern web framework: React, Angular or Ember)
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology and processes
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent of 5 plus years relevant experience required

- Experience with photo, video, film and cloud editing is a plus
- Understand system interdependencies
- Analytical, methodical, inquisitive and persistent problem solver committed to driving quality forward
- Ability to abstract technical details and effectively communicate to audiences at different levels
- Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
- Bug detection, isolation, and regression skill
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skill (oral and written)
- Can extract user scenarios from software feature descriptions and requirements to translate them into effective test plans and cases

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
