Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years of programming experience in Java or Scala or Python
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent
- Experience building reusable frameworks, libraries, or components
- Experience with distributed computing
- Knowledge of software engineering practices and standard methodologies for the full software development lifecycle
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Spark, Flink, or other distributed computing frameworks
- Experience with SQL query engines like Trino, Hive, etc.
- Understanding of Apache Iceberg, Hudi, or Delta
- Experience with debugging issues on distributed systems
- Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing is a plus.
- Understanding of the AI/ML stack - GPUs, MLFlow, LLM models is a plus.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
