Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Behavior Technician to join Applebury Behavior Associates. The Advanced Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect data on observable client behavior
- Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives
- Provide direct 1:1 therapy to clients
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support client progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues
- Comfortable working with medical documentation and records
**This Per Diem position requires flexible hours, days, and weekends.
**Applebury Behavior Associates services statewide, and the position may require travel to different parts of Massachusetts.
Preferred:
- Certified Registered Behavioral Technician
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech and Language Pathology, or another related field
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with children
- Familiarity with patient assessment procedures
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices
- Ability to follow medical protocols for administering medications
