Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Appledore Primary Care. As an LPN with our team, you will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exams, instructing patients on collection of necessary samples/tests, and obtaining vitals. You will also notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments, and instruct patients and families about medications and treatment instructions. Additional responsibilities include managing patient records, scheduling tests and treatments, and arranging referrals to specialists.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a degree from an accredited school of practical nursing, a minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinic setting, and licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse following state regulations.
