Applegate & Dillman Elder Law is looking to add an Associate Attorney to our fast-paced and collaborative guardianship, probate, real estate and civil litigation team[BO1] who exemplifies the same Core Values of our firm. We are looking for a growth-oriented n individual who shows initiative, resiliency, trust, & respect, courageous advocacy, excellent communication, and who cultivates connection with our clients and other staff. This individual should possess the following characteristics:
- Licensed to practice law in Indiana
- 3-5 years of litigation experience and willingness to focus initially on contested guardianship and probate litigation
- Knowledge of legal procedure and the process of a ability to comprehend the life of a guardianship, probate, and litigation case from start to finish
- Moral character, hardworking with common sense and good judgment
- Ability to manage high volume of clients and cases with organization, effective communication and time management skills and an ability to delegate to and manage administrative staff
- Independent judgment and discretion
- Excellent legal research skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinking to best assess each specific client's needs
This position will be required to have the flexibility to work from one of our multiple three office locations with some flexibility to opportunities to work remotely, as well.
