We are currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Counselor to join our dedicated team of professionals. In this vital role, you will help patients reclaim their lives using Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) alongside counseling. Through collaboration with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teammates, you will play a key part in each patient's recovery journey.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Counselor to join our dedicated team of professionals. In this vital role, you will help patients reclaim their lives using Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) alongside counseling. Through collaboration with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teammates, you will play a key part in each patient's recovery journey.
What You’ll Do
- Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices.
- Conduct initial patient assessments and determine eligibility for services.
- Complete comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Support patients in developing healthy coping skills and symptom management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the full clinical team to evaluate patient progress.
- Assist patients with aftercare and discharge planning.
- Respond empathetically to patient concerns, grievances, and questions.
- Occasionally support other clinic locations, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Must hold one of the following:
- LPC/MHSP
- LPC/MHSP Temporary
- LADAC II
- LCSW
- LMFT
- Master’s-level intern or candidate working toward state licensure will also be considered.
- Passion for working with individuals affected by substance use disorders.
- Preferred: Prior experience working with opioid or chemical dependency treatment.
- Ability to engage with patients using a positive, non-judgmental, and supportive approach.
- Strong team players who collaborate effectively with others.
- Knowledge of addiction, treatment modalities, and community resources.
- Satisfactory background check and drug screen required.
