Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers, including processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all food handling safety regulations and maintain compliance with health standards.
Skills
- Experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food environments.
- Strong food handling skills with an understanding of safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash register systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not required.
