We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Travel Mart Overnight Associate. This position involves working from 10 PM to 6 AM, ensuring that the store operates smoothly during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment, providing excellent customer service, and handling various operational tasks.
Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and engage customers.
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing products in the grocery store.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Supervise any overnight staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and sales reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations throughout the night.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential.
- Basic math skills are necessary for managing transactions and inventory.
