Duties:
As a Barista, you will:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Uphold brand standards for presentation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Experience:
- 1 years of experience in a coffee shop or similar food service environment
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar Point of Sale systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Location: In person for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems for order processing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on coffee preparation being a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards in food preparation areas.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• A genuine passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage offerings.
