What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at AppleOne Employment Services?
We are looking for an Accounting Manager at $75,000-$85,000 plus bonus/benefits!
100% on site in Vero Beach, FL
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $75,000–$85,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
• Profit Sharing: approximately 10–11% annually (consistently maintained for over 40 years)

Responsible for managing all aspects of product inventory and throughput, which includes:
• Gather terminal statements for all inventory locations
• Generate and complete internal inventory reconciling spreadsheet
• Reconcile all inventory movements for trucks, barges, vessels, rail cars, pump overs, to their respective terminal statements
• Investigate discrepancies and work with terminal contacts to correct any potential issues
• Monitor inventory scheduling throughout the month to ensure accuracy
• Check, reconcile and process all throughput related invoices
• Prepare throughput schedules for all divisions and related journal entries
• Complete various ad-hoc projects related to inventory and throughput management
Other Senior Accountant responsibilities
• Maintain and update company minimum lease schedule for all terminal locations
• Manage all storage contract, keeping updated records and notifying relevant parties regarding renewal dates and other contract changes
• Maintain the capitalized lease schedule
• Prepare the Borrowing Base bi-monthly
• Daily trade accounting for one division (once all other tasks are mastered)
• Cross train with other team members to cover when they are out of the office
Annually
• Prepare inventory and throughput related audit work papers and reconciliations
• Draft and manage inventory confirmations sent to product terminals
• Work with controller to assist on any inventory/throughput related questions that arise
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Five years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
