Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including pumps, fans, motors, heaters, and air conditioning units
Conduct regular building walkthroughs and routine inspections of systems and grounds
Respond to urgent service requests and participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends
Maintain and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS), energy control systems, and safety protocols
Complete light carpentry, door and lock repairs, and seasonal tasks such as snow removal
Follow OSHA safety regulations and use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ensure accurate documentation and work order completion using digital platforms or CMMS systems
Qualifications:
2–4 years of hands-on experience in building, facility, or property maintenance
Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting
Understanding of MEP drawings, work order tracking systems, and BAS or CMMS platforms
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to work independently, lift up to 50 lbs., and safely use ladders and access rooftops
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
EPA 608 HVAC Certification
Electrical License or Certification
OSHA 10/30 Training
Completion of technical trade school or vocational training in maintenance or engineering
