Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Fundraising and Development
Develop and implement a comprehensive resource development strategy, including annual campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, and special events.
Set and achieve fundraising goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Research and identify new funding opportunities to diversify revenue streams.
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship
Build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
Develop donor engagement and recognition programs to foster long-term commitment and loyalty.
Oversee donor database management, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Grant Development and Management
Identify, write, and manage grant proposals and funding requests.
Ensure compliance with grant requirements and timely reporting to funders.
Collaborate with program staff to align grant opportunities with organizational needs.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and mentor the resource development team, including staff, volunteers, and interns.
Work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to engage them in fundraising efforts.
Collaborate with program and marketing teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational branding and mission.
Events and Campaign Management
Plan and execute successful fundraising events and campaigns.
Coordinate marketing and communication strategies to promote events and campaigns.
Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, resource development, or a related role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
Proven success in achieving fundraising goals and securing major gifts and grants.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and public speaking.
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
