Financial Controller

Growing Miami commercial GC that specializes in Mid-Rise and High-Rise Multifamily ground Up construction is in need of:

Position: Financial Controller – Construction

Pay: salary will be based on experience level

About the job:

Oversee all accounting and financial operations. This role includes managing the company books, handling monthly billings, payment releases, NTO's, Company payroll and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure

• Manage the company's financial performance, including revenue, expenses and profitability

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company growth and goals

• Prepare and present financial reports, budget and forecast to the executive team

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives

• Prepare and generate back-up, breakdowns, reports and bank documents.

• Collaborate with Project Executives to generate and monitor monthly WIP (Work in Progress)

• Prepare and generate all Surety required reports

• Manage company payroll

Qualifications:

• 8 years' experience in Construction accounting

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (preferred)

• A background in construction or real estate industry (required)

• Proficient in financial software and tools

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Accept a drug test
