Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Hybrid – Glen Mills, PA (Tuesday & Friday work from home)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: $51.53/hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a strong background in Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage and oversee the successful delivery of IT projects. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage projects from inception through completion, while ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Develop and manage detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.

Coordination & Collaboration: Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the flawless execution of projects. Facilitate workshops and meetings across teams to collaborate on problem-solving and project goals.

Scope, Schedule, & Cost Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Ensure resource availability and allocation for project success.

Performance Tracking: Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, analyzing both short-term and long-term project goals.

Risk & Issue Management: Perform risk management to minimize potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Report and escalate to management as needed.

Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document project needs and progress.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with both internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring alignment on project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4-6 years of experience in managing Agile and Waterfall IT-related projects.

Proven experience in project management, ideally in a technical or IT environment.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding or hands-on experience with software development and web technologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executives.

Solid organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.

Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to project challenges.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to see the big picture while creating structures and processes that best fit the environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.

Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Prosci Change Management Certification preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is a hybrid position based in Glen Mills, PA, with the option to work remotely on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Contract duration: 6 months.
