Our client has an immediate need for a Scholarship Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a financial aid office as high-functioning assistant with customer service experience.
This is a remote, 4 month contract that pays $22/hr-$25/hr.

Scholarship Coordinator
- Support end-to-end processing of individual scholarship programs, including:
- Reviewing applications for completeness, eligibility and priority eligibility
- Collecting and accurately interpreting applicant eligibility information
- Conduct data entry in a variety of portals and related databases, supporting projects to ensure data is accurately entered and managed
- Following up on checks sent to institutions timely
- Communication & Customer Service
- Provide telephone, email, and text support for students throughout scholarship application, selection, and award processes
- Provide technical assistance to scholarship applicants during the semi-finalist application phase
- Research contacts at financial aid offices at relevant colleges and universities, establishing and maintaining positive relationships
- Escalate issues internally and with partners in an appropriate manner
- Provide high-quality customer service to scholarship and grantee partners, donors, and Foundation employees
- Provide accurate and timely information to various audiences, including:
- Drafting and refining messaging to improve the clarity of student communications and resources
- Sending bulk email and text message
