What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Internal Auditor position at AppleOne Employment Services?
We’re seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team in Chino, CA. You’ll report directly to the Manager of Internal Audit and work independently and collaboratively to support organizational improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently conduct operational, performance, and compliance audits
• Perform all audit phases: preliminary work, field work, and draft reporting
• Develop audit programs, perform testing, analyze risk/data
• Draft reports, observations, and propose control recommendations
• Work with a high degree of independence following IIA’s IPPF
• Review policies and assess procedures for efficiency and control gaps
Requirements:
• 5 years of internal audit experience (senior level preferred)
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with audit software tools preferred (e.g., TeamMate, IDEA, ACL)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CIA or similar certification highly preferred
• Resourceful, detail-oriented, and excellent communicator
