Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests, invoices, or orders.
Accurately document shipment details, including weight, costs, space availability, and any discrepancies.
Prepare and process shipping documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping labels.
Pack, seal, and label shipments using appropriate tools and postage meters.
Coordinate with carriers to arrange shipping and ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate with internal teams to resolve issues such as shortages, damages, or order discrepancies.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and request supplies as needed.
Determine the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods, routes, and rates.
Operate hand trucks, conveyors, or sorting bins to move materials within the facility.
