Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Packaging and Quality Inspector to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the packaging process, ensuring labeling accuracy, and inspecting materials for quality compliance. Your contributions will ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our customers while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the packaging of materials during production, ensuring accurate labeling.
Transport boxes to the Pack/Inspect station and inspect parts for gross visual defects.
Verify box quantities, print and place labels, and securely close and tape boxes.
Move finished boxes to the designated WIP station for warehouse delivery.
Serve as a back-up for IPQ Inspectors (In-Process Quality) and Dedicated Inspector/Packers.
Assemble boxes with bags, print and place production labels, and manage the inspection and packing process.
Perform inspections using gage tools and ensure compliance with visual attribute requirements.
Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Policies, as well as departmental quality and HR procedures.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
Proficiency in using computers and appropriate software for labeling and weighing materials.
Ability to comprehend and apply Visual Attribute and gage inspection requirements.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Essential Functions:
Verify production orders and ensure proper labeling and packaging procedures.
Inspect parts for visual nonconformance and maintain quality standards.
Act as a back-up for quality inspection roles as needed.
Follow all safety and quality policies and report any deficiencies to the supervisor.

3- Available shifts
1st shift pays $13.00 an hour 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
2nd shift pays $14.00 an hour 3:30 pm to 12:00 pm midnight
3rd Shift pays $15.00 an hour 11:30 pm to 8:00 am
