What are the responsibilities and job description for the AppleOne Technical Staffing | Project Superintendent position at AppleOne Technical Staffing?
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for field supervision of subcontractors, coordination of trades, construction conflict resolution, inspector relations and inspections and quality control.
Desired : 5 years’ experience as a Project Superintendent for multi-million dollar commercial and industrial projects, ground up Construction experience required.
Qualifications & Skills :
Minimum skill levels include technical expertise in plan reading, concrete and masonry systems, structural modification, demolition, and carpentry; ability to communicate and lead subcontractors in execution of their work. Basic knowledge of MEP, Life Safety, refrigeration, health department requirements and kitchen exhaust hoods are a must. Theme Park experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of building means and methods
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of computerized CPM scheduling programs
- Ability to multi-task
Duties :
Monitors work in progress and reports to his Project Manager
Theme Park work will require coordination of access, badging, and parking for all vendors during the course of a project and may include night work
