We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who have gained up to 3 years of hands-on experience in AP and are eager to further their career in a growing organization.
Job Description :
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. This position requires someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and related documents.
Assist with month-end close activities, including the preparation of AP reports.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues or inquiries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the AP process.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0-3 years of experience in an accounts payable or accounting role.
Strong understanding of AP processes and accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with ERP systems or cloud-based accounting tools.
Knowledge of general accounting practices and financial reporting
