Overview :
A manufacturing company in Matthews, NC, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates quality workmanship.
Responsibilities :
Assembly and Quality Assurance :
Assemble, inspect, and pack customer orders daily, ensuring high-quality output.
Perform machine mount assembly and task light assembly.
Production and Shipping Support :
Follow the production schedule to meet customer demands.
Assist in stocking the warehouse with incoming goods.
Support shipping activities as needed.
Work Area Maintenance :
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
Skills and Requirements
Experience :
1-2 years of light mechanical assembly experience.
Technical Knowledge :
Proficiency in using hand tools and basic measuring devices (e.g., tape measure).
Basic understanding of ANSI (USA) and Metric bolt sizes.
Ability to read and understand Bill of Materials (BOM) and pick / router tickets.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Soft Skills :
Strong attention to detail.
Team player with the ability to multitask.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
