In this role, you’ll manage coding and billing processes to ensure accurate reimbursement, compliance with regulations, and seamless revenue cycle operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze patient records to identify accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
- Submit claims to insurance companies and ensure timely follow-ups to resolve denials or discrepancies.
- Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with current guidelines (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations and coding standards.
- Generate billing reports and assist in revenue cycle management initiatives.
- Handle patient billing inquiries and resolve account discrepancies in a professional manner.
