Project Manager 2 - BSA/AML Remediation
Location: Uptown Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 months (likely extension to end of 2025)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager 2 to lead, drive, and coordinate BSA/AML remediation efforts across Front Line groups. In this critical role, you will have the opportunity to plan, organize, and execute large-scale programs, while working closely with senior leaders across Independent Risk Management, Corporate Functions, and Front Line teams to implement strategic and risk management priorities. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead BSA/AML remediation work efforts across multiple teams and business groups
• Drive performance and initiatives, providing strategic advice and insights to senior leadership
• Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve complex challenges and deliver large-scale solutions
• Prepare and deliver information to key stakeholders and senior management
• Coordinate business execution efforts to implement innovative solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and manage decision-making processes
• Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders across multiple lines of business
• Lead team meetings and steering committees to facilitate project execution and alignment
Key Requirements:
• 5 years of Project/Program Management experience, particularly in financial crimes, BSA/AML, or risk management
• Proven experience leading large, complex programs in a regulatory environment
• Strong experience in stakeholder management and executive-level reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with APIP (Action Plan Implementation Platform) is a plus
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining high organizational standards
• Experience in consulting, risk, compliance, or operations roles is preferred
• Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship management skills
Desired Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in consulting, risk, compliance, or operations roles
• Experience within the Financial Services Industry
• Knowledge of BSA/AML and Sanctions regulatory requirements
• Strong change management and program management expertise
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as LEAN, process improvements, and continuous improvement
