Client company partnered with AppleOne is seeking a dynamic Business Development Professional. This is a leading financial consulting firm in the Orange County area.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy : Develop and execute an effective outside sales strategy, including cold / warm calling, community outreach through centers of influence, and identifying key referral sources.
Client Outreach : Connect with potential clients using networking, cold calling, and emailing to drive business growth.
Educational Workshops : Drive audience acquisition for our educational financial workshops, fostering relationships with new and existing clients.
Collaboration : Work closely with the Internal Marketing team to craft compelling messaging for social media and email campaigns.
Lead Conversion : Follow up on Internal Marketing and Succession / Acquisition leads, converting them into loyal clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Education : BA / BS preferred.
Experience : 3 years of proven work experience in a Business Development or Sales role (Sales Account Executive, Sales Representative, or similar).
Financial Services : At least one year of experience in the financial services industry.
Sales Skills : Demonstrated ability to qualify and convert leads into clients through both cold and warm calling.
Track Record : Success in inside sales or cold-calling environments is highly preferred.
Personal Traits : Strong, professional, and assertive selling style, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Tech Proficiency : Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
