Salary : $20 - $28 per hour
Job Description :
Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Dispatcher with strong leadership abilities to join our team. In this critical role, you will manage the efficient coordination of logistics, oversee dispatch operations, and lead a team to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. As a Dispatcher, you will be the first point of contact for drivers and field staff, ensuring timely responses, effective communication, and successful issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage day-to-day dispatch operations, ensuring efficient scheduling and route management.
Provide leadership to the dispatch team, mentoring, guiding, and ensuring performance standards are met.
Coordinate with drivers, ensuring clear communication and efficient movement of resources.
Resolve operational challenges in real-time, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
Monitor system reports, track service levels, and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all dispatch activities.
Assist in training new team members and creating a positive, results-driven work environment.
Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring client needs are met promptly.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or operations coordination (1-2 years preferred).
Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
