Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with experience in transportation logistics and dispatching? Keep reading! We are looking for a Dispatcher to join our client's team and help ensure efficient scheduling, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and coordinate truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routes.
- Monitor and track shipments to provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to address any scheduling issues or delays.
- Utilize dispatching software to assign loads, track driver progress, and optimize routes.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Resolve any logistical or operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of deliveries, driver hours, and fuel usage.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
