What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Relations Specialist position at AppleOne?
Do you have a 4 year college degree with at least two years in an HR investigative and / or fact finding position? Do you have experience conducting confidential interviews and creating complex reports and presentations? If so, this may be the position for you. A qualified applicant for this role will have a background in HR with a focus on conducting and participating in internal investigations. This position is responsible for investigating complex, sensitive, and multi-faceted workplace investigations involving HR laws, civil rights complaints, and policy violations, such as discrimination and harassment in the workplace and retaliation. Some of the day to day functions include :
- Communicating with Complainants, Witnesses and Respondents.
- Planning and scheduling investigative interviews.
- Gathering facts and information pertinent to investigative cases.
- Conducting research on various civil rights-related issues raised during the course of investigations..
- Helping analyze facts and information and determining whether policies have been violated.
