MUST have some accounting background / experience or a degree!
We are looking for an entry level bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks in an import / distribution environment.
Responsibilities include AR records collections calls for outstanding payments, Processing credit memos for returns, Receiving and processing check / cash deposits, Process invoices, AP data entry, Filing, Purchase and Cost Analyst and Answering Phones.
Requirements :
- Able to multi-task
- Excellent communications, presentation and analytical skills
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
- Detailed Oriented
- Team Player
- A / R experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English and Spanish or Mandarin) is a plus
- BA / BS (is not required but it is a plus)
