Job Title: Entry Level Cable Technician
Location: Monroe, NC
Pay: $20/HR
Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

As a Fiber Technician, you'll play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing OSP (Outside Plant) buried drops, ensuring our fiber optic networks are reliable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues with existing fiber optic wiring during service calls.
Cable Identification and Repair: Locate and dig to identify existing cables, then repair or replace them as needed.
Fiber Splicing: Perform fiber optic cable splicing to maintain and enhance network connectivity.
Restoration: Carry out necessary restoration work after digging to ensure the site is left in good condition.
Customer Interaction: Greet and interact with customers respectfully and professionally. Review all requested services with them to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
Communication: Keep your supervisor and dispatch informed about work status and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
Age & Authorization: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
Driver's License: Valid standard Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and an acceptable MVR record.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed, work 3 feet above ground level, and perform duties in all weather conditions.
Work Flexibility: Available for overtime, after-hours, weekends, emergencies, and on-call situations.
Safety Awareness: Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
