Location : Must live within an hour of Durham, NC
Pay : Based on experience
Employment Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule : 40 hours / week (includes rotating on-call shifts & some weekends)

Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact? We’re seeking a Fiber Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing OSP buried drops. If you have experience in telecommunications and are ready to be part of a company that values its employees, this may be your next career move.
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic wiring during service calls
Locate, dig, and identify existing cable
Perform fiber optic splicing and cable restoration
Interact with customers professionally and respectfully
Communicate with supervisors and dispatch regarding work status
What We’re Looking For
1 year of experience in the telecommunications industry
Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR (minimum 2 years driving experience)
Ability to lift / carry up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Comfortable working 3 feet above ground level
Able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
Must pass a background check and drug screening
