Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer (Field Application Engineer) with a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong background in 3D CAD software (Creo) and at least 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally within the electronics parts industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product development teams and customers to identify growth opportunities and drive projects from concept to mass production.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research market and customer requirements to assess business and product feasibility.
- Develop concept designs and pricing proposals in collaboration with the product department based on customer needs.
- Work closely with engineering teams and project managers to ensure timely product development and launch.
- Generate business progress reports and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct on-site customer visits to review requirements, troubleshoot issues, and foster strong relationships.
- Identify and initiate activities aimed at generating new sales for SMK.
- Attend industry trade shows and company events to promote our products and solutions.
- Influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Present technical solutions to engineers, technical personnel, and decision-makers at commercial and industrial establishments.
- Analyze schematics, blueprints, and customer documents to develop cost estimates and evaluate production improvements.
- Propose process enhancements and material usage modifications to optimize client operations and product integration.
