Junior Accountant (Temp-to-Perm or Direct Hire)
Location : Charlotte, NC 28217
Hourly Rate : $22 - $25 / hr

About the Role :
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves handling key accounting functions such as payables / receivables, machine billing, and month-end close procedures. The position offers strong growth potential and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities :
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile payable and receivable transactions
Process machine billing and receipt of goods entry / payable
Assist with collections by resolving customer billing issues and reducing accounts receivable balances
Perform end-of-month reporting and support month-end close procedures
Support Sales Order processing as needed
Maintain and update the general ledger
Ensure proper verification and control of financial transactions
Assist the Accounting Manager with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications :
Education : Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field (minimum)
Experience : At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Preferred : 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Key Skills :
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently
Experience in collections and resolving billing issues
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
