About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for processing medical claims, ensuring accurate billing, and working with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing inquiries. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing, a strong understanding of insurance guidelines, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government programs.
Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Follow up on unpaid claims and appeal denied claims as necessary.
Post payments and reconcile patient accounts.
Communicate with insurance providers and patients regarding billing inquiries.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and medical billing guidelines.
Qualifications :
1 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare administration.
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding, and insurance processes.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent (Certification in medical billing is a plus).
