Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for accuracy and financial excellence? We're hiring a Staff Accountant to join our team in a full-time, temp-to-hire capacity!
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Develop and maintain budgets, including periodic reporting and variance analysis.
Handle tax computations and prepare returns, ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to maintain accurate financial data.
Analyze business operations, trends, and financial commitments to assist with forecasting and decision-making.
Establish and maintain accounting systems, leveraging modern technology.
Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Proficient in GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Technical Expertise: Skilled in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with tax laws, government regulations, and industry standards.
Preferred Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2 years of experience in accounting or financial roles.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
