Job Title : Test Lead
Location : Charlotte, NC
Hourly : $61.91 per hour
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to oversee and coordinate the testing efforts for a fortune 500 banking institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the testing process, providing direction for all test activities, and ensuring the timely execution and delivery of high-quality results. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional planning skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Test Plan Input : Provide valuable input and guidance in the creation of test plans, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Environment Planning & Preparation : Oversee the preparation and configuration of testing environments, ensuring readiness for test execution.
- Test Schedule Planning : Develop and maintain detailed test schedules, managing deadlines and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of test milestones.
- Story / Script Development : Collaborate with product teams to develop test stories and scripts, ensuring they align with project requirements and goals.
- Data Conditioning : Prepare and condition data for test cases to ensure realistic and comprehensive testing scenarios.
- Test Script Execution : Lead the execution of test scripts, monitor results, and ensure accurate and complete documentation of test activities.
- Triage Meeting Scheduling / Facilitation : Schedule and facilitate triage meetings, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues and defects.
- Defect Tracking, Remediation & Escalation : Manage defect lifecycle from detection to resolution, ensuring that defects are tracked, remediated, and escalated when necessary.
- Testing Progress Reporting : Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, highlighting test execution status, identified defects, and any potential risks to project timelines.
