About the Role :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing motor vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Your ability to accurately manage legal documents and maintain meticulous records will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities :
Process the acquisition of titles from original owners.
Facilitate lien payoffs.
Manage title transfers to the dealership.
Ensure accurate and timely titling and registration of vehicles.
Record and maintain new and used vehicle inventory in the Accounting System.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of experience in title work.
Working knowledge of title requirements across U.S. states is a plus.
Familiarity with DMV rules and regulations.
Knowledge of loan origination functions is required.
Knowledge of state and multi-state sales tax codes is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred - Reynolds and Reynolds a huge plus!
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
