Custodial Specialist (Part-time)

Description

Appleseed Community Mental Health Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodial Specialist to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across multiple locations. This role involves general cleaning duties and light maintenance tasks to support the daily operations of our facilities. The position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, totaling 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, and common areas at our multiple locations
• Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash
• Clean windows and glass surfaces to maintain a professional appearance
• Handle light maintenance duties, including changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and restocking supplies
• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
• Maintain and organize the supply closet to ensure easy access to materials
• Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas
• Identify and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Travel between locations as needed (reliable transportation required)
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks, including bending over and climbing a ladder
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations
