What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foodservice Aide position at Appleton Area Health?
Position Summary:
- Assists in food preparation, provides dining room services, documents meal and fluid intakes, washes/puts away dishes, and completes departmental cleaning. Ensures adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
Standard Requirements:
- Able to work productively and positively with fellow employees and the Director of Foodservice.
- Must possess the ability to work well with other people.
- Must be professional and give guidance to fellow employees when needed.
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines in the Foodservice department to meet the requirements of regulating agencies.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents and hospital patients.
- Work with fellow employees to meet the objectives of the department.
- Follow sanitation guidelines as specified in the Dietary Policy Manual.
- Work around the heat of stove/oven and steam from food/steamer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.86 - $21.58 per hour
