The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE (100%) Middle level Social Studies and English Language Arts Teacher at Wisconsin Connections Academy beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
Certification Required : Elementary 1-8 (2088, 1088 or 1777)
WCA is a virtual education school serving 4K-12 students in a non-classroom based environment. Teachers work closely with parents and students to educate students through the use of a standard-based curriculum. All teachers report daily to a physical location in Appleton. Teachers are expected to participate in field trips, standardized testing, and travel as necessary; all applicable expenses will be reimbursed.
Due to the unique setting of WCA, teachers who have not previously taught at WCA may be required to attend a day of school specific training prior to the school year beginning in August.
