Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing excellent service in a nursing home environment. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring that our residents' have a comfortable, clean and welcoming experience.

Duties

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident's rooms, hallways, staff break room and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces as needed.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the supervisor or maintenance.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing residents' rooms, bathrooms, and other areas to meet health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the facilities environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to residents and staff requests or concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred, but we will train.
• Knowledge of housekeeping practices and floor care techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude with a strong commitment to the care of our residents, families and guest satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
