We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing complex infrastructure projects valued at $100M , with strong leadership in project execution, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control. Electrical experience is highly desirable.
Location: This position is based in Florida.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, specializing in water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects valued at $100M .
- Strong background in budget management, project scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Proficiency in interpreting plans, specs, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in water infrastructure projects.
- Electrical experience is highly desirable, particularly in SCADA systems, motor controls, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, including OSHA, state, and local codes.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of water & wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure project profitability.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labor forces to maintain productivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and safety meetings.
- Review designs, submittals, and construction processes to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and foremen.
- Proactively address construction challenges to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Monitor material procurement and equipment logistics to prevent delays.
- Provide regular project progress updates and maintain detailed documentation.
