Project Manager – *Water/Wastewater Construction Needed*
Location: Fort Myers, FL - Must be located on Site - Relocation will be covered if required
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale water/wastewater construction projects from inception to completion valued between $50M - $400M. This role requires a deep understanding of project planning, budget management, and field coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage large-scale or multiple Water/Wastewater projects simultaneously.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to foster repeat business.
- Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and cost accounting to ensure financial success.
- Collaborate with preconstruction teams on value engineering, estimating, and bid solicitation.
- Negotiate major subcontractor agreements and material/equipment purchases.
- Manage contract execution, compliance, change orders, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure timely submittals, shop drawings, and procurement of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor job progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Lead project closeout, startup, commissioning, and owner training.
- Report project financials and resolve major disputes with subcontractors or vendors.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Work closely with superintendents and field teams to support project mobilization and execution.
- Coach and mentor team members to promote professional growth and leadership development.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in water/wastewater construction projects valued $50M is required.
- Self-perform crew management experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar projects from start to finish.
- Proficiency in CPM scheduling software and construction management tools.

Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
