Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Support patients in performing Activities of Daily Living to promote independence and functional mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health in daily tasks.
Experience
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Familiarity with care plans and medical imaging is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for effective communication and patient care.
- Experience working with diverse populations, particularly geriatrics, is highly valued.
