Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, care giver and van driver to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Safely drive children from local elementary school to AppleTree Day School.
- Provide small group tutoring sessions or one-on-one assistance.
- Implement effective behavior management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Assist students in understanding and enhancing their academic performance.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and motivation.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to address student's needs.
- Utilize resources effectively, including technology, to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Must be at least 25 years old with great driving record and willing to drive van to pick up children from local elementary schools.
- Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Background in special education or experience working with children with diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid is beneficial for ensuring student safety during sessions a plus.
- Previous experience in camps or babysitting roles can be advantageous for building rapport with students.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate students are essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
