Marketing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant
Reports To: Owner Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt
Type: Full-Time
Purpose: The Marketing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant will support the organization through marketing the company and general administration for the office. This position will work closely with leadership to plan, create, and execute the marketing strategy, along with completing administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
Marketing – 70%
· Manage company image on social media, including posts and feedback.
· Establish and maintain monthly e-newsletters using Mailchimp to give customers relevant and useful information as well as promote business and sales.
· Create and work off the Marketing Calendar and connect our messaging with vendors messaging to promote products.
· Responsible for updating company WordPress webpages to include adding content, changing hours, job postings, informational posts for customers and many other items.
· Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and manage projects from inception to successful completion.
· Responsible for all onsite and print marketing.
Administrative – 30%
· Responsible for answering the phone and assisting customers as needed.
· Take orders over the phone or in-person and schedule deliveries.
· Use the Point-of-Sale registers to ring customers up and assist them as they wrap up their shopping experience.
· Plan, manage and organize a series of training courses and/or events. Including securing location and food and managing attendees for both contractors and retail.
· Input data entry as needed.
· Assist Office Manager and/or Human Resources Manager with any projects as needed.
- Any other duties as needed.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
· Preferred Associates degree with an emphasis in Marketing or High School Diploma/GED.
· Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience needed.
· HS diploma or equivalent required.
· Excellent Customer Service skills needed.
· Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, WordPress.
· Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks, frequent interruptions, and detail with accuracy in a fast-paced work environment.
· Proven ability to work independently with sound judgement, show strong initiative and be results oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
