Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in appliance repair, HVAC, and electrical systems. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances while providing exceptional customer service. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and services provided.
- Operate a box truck for the delivery of appliances and parts as required.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with field service teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and installations.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site at customer locations.
Experience
- Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems and electrical components.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation related to appliance repair.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Field service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
